22 Aug (NucNet): Areva NP has won a contract for the replacement of six steam generators at South Africa’s Koeberg nuclear power station, the station operator Eskom has said.
Eskom says the installation of the new steam generators should take place in 2018, which is aligned with other maintenance activities planned for the power station.
