Construction of the second phase of Bushehr nuclear power station will begin next month, the chairman of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organisation, Ali Akbar Salehi, has said, according to local press reports.Salam Amini, a member of the Iranian parliament’s energy committee, quoted Mr Salehi as having said on 21 July that “concrete foundations for this part of the nuclear power station will be laid next month”.Mr Salehi made the remarks during a visit to The Iranian parliament, press reports said.
