12 Oct (NucNet): Plant owner and operator Shikoku Electric Power Company has applied to Japan’s regulator for formal permission to decommission the Ikata-2, a 538-MW pressurised water reactor unit in Ehime Prefecture, southern Japan, the company confirmed in a statement.
