30 Aug (NucNet): The China State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) has opened a company representative office for South America in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The representation aims at improving bilateral cooperation between China and Brazil.
The SNPTC was established in 2004 and is responsible for technology partnerships with foreign companies, technology selection for new nuclear plants and the development of the Chinese CAP1400 reactor design.
