19 Jun (NucNet): EDF Energy has taken what it called “a critical step” towards the construction of new nuclear reactors in the UK by choosing a preferred bidder for a £2bn ($3.1bn, 2.4 billion euro) contract to build a plant at Hinkley Point in Somerset.
