17 Dec (NucNet): The methodology proposed by operator Electrabel for the safety case on the structural integrity of the Doel-3 and Tihange-2 nuclear reactors in Belgium is “not yet mature enough” and further work is needed to clarify the implications of tests that revealed flaws in the units’ reactor pressure vessels (RPVs), a report by the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control (Fanc) says.
