‘Bess’ will operate in event of disruption at new EPR plant
An 85-MW battery energy storage system (Bess) – one of the largest in Europe – that can supply power in the event of a disruption at the Olkiluoto-3 nuclear power plant in Finland is undergoing commissioning and is close to being operational, Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) said.
