UK prime minister Boris Johnson’s plan to build 40GW of wind capacity to power all homes with wind by 2030 would supply only 7% of current total UK energy demand, leaving the government well short of its goal of net zero by 2050, climate activist Zion Lights said in the online news magazine CapX.
