7 Sep (NucNet): British Energy Group has appointed Robert Walvis to its board as non-executive director.
Mr Walvis held a number of senior managerial positions with Royal Dutch Shell Group from 1971 until 2001, including chairman of the company’s Global Corporate Centre, where he was responsible for planning, external and environmental affairs.
Mr Walvis is also a non-executive director of Johnson Matthey, Balfour Beatty and Associated British Ports, and is non-executive chairman of the supervisory board of Allianz Nederland Groep.
