Bulgaria Ordered To Pay Russia €620 Million Over Belene Termination

20 Jun (NucNet): The International Court of Arbitration (ICA) of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris has ordered Bulgaria’s state-owned National Electric Company (NEK) to pay €620m ($703m) in compensation to Russia’s nuclear equipment manufacturer Atomstroyexport over the termination of the Belene nuclear station construction project, Atomstroyexport said in a statement.
