20 Aug (NucNet): The Haiyang-1 Generation III+ Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear reactor unit in Shandong province, northeast China, was connected to the grid at 09:50 local time on 17 August 2018, developer China State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) said.
