Technical hurdles can be overcome if political will is there, says opposition
The Netherlands has asked Germany to consider keeping its nuclear power plants in operation, but admitted the chances of that happening are slim, especially after German chancellor Olaf Scholz told parliament this week he was not considering the idea.
