31 Aug (NucNet): The Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) has begun the removal of spent nuclear fuel assemblies from the storage tank of the Monju prototype fast breeder reactor in Fukui Prefecture, southwest Japan, the agency said in a statement.
