Company says it will update commissioning schedule and cost estimates in weeks to come
France’s state-controlled nuclear operator EDF will have to repair eight faulty pipe welds in the secondary main cooling loops before the start of commercial operation of its Flamanville-3 EPR unit in northern France, according to recommendations made yesterday by the French nuclear regulator ASN.
