Better control over the proliferation of sensitive parts of the nuclear fuel cycle is essential for reducing the risks of proliferation and paving the way for more widespread use of peaceful nuclear applications, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director-general Mohamed ElBaradei has said.
