NEA / Electricity Prices Should Take All External Factors Into Account, Says Report

The price of electricity in today’s markets does not accurately reflect the cost of electricity on society and the environment, and as a result, decisions regarding supply and future planning fail to include all of the factors needed to ensure reliable electricity supply, a report by the Nuclear Energy Agency says.
