Discharge of warm water suggests plant has reached criticality
A new “experimental” nuclear reactor at North Korea’s Yongbyon nuclear complex appears to be operating for the first time, the International Atomic Energy Agency said on Thursday (21 December), which would mean an additional potential source of plutonium for nuclear weapons.
