Final Agreement Reached On Renewable Energy Rules With Concessions To Nuclear

European Union leaders reached an agreement last Friday on a latest version of the bloc’s renewable energy directive, known as RED III, including last-minute concessions on nuclear power and without restarting the entire policy negotiation process from scratch.
