4 Dec (NucNet): The cost of construction of the Flamanville-3 European Pressurised Water Reactor (EPR) in northern France has increased by two billion euro (EUR) (2.6 billion US dollars) to EUR 8.5 billion, with production of the first commercial electricity still scheduled for 2016, EDF has said.
