Four Nuclear Plants Are Formally Granted Operating Licences

Four nuclear power units that are already in commercial operation in China have been formally granted their licences to operate, the China Nuclear Energy Association said.The units are Sanmen-1 and -2 in Zhejiang province, eastern China, and Haiyang-1 and -2 in Shandong province, northeast China.All four plants are Generation III+ Westinghouse AP1000 pressurised water reactor units.
