France ‘Asks For Increased Funding’ As New Nuclear Station Faces Delays and Cost Overruns

Following EDF’s announcement on 24 January that the start of operations at Hinkley Point C may be delayed from June 2027 until as late as 2031, a French economy ministry official has reportedly said that the British government has to increase its funding for the project.
