France’s Emissions Figures Show Need For Nuclear, Says SFEN

31 May (NucNet): Greenhouse gas emissions in France have increased for the second consecutive year, underlining the need to devote significant efforts to decarbonising transport and housing and for keeping nuclear energy as an essential part of the country’s energy mix, the French Nuclear Energy Society (SFEN) said, quoting statistics from the Ministry of the Environment.
