Further Delay As Regulator Halts Safety Assessment At Tsuruga-2
Tsuruga-2, a 1,108 pressurised water reactor unit, began commercial operation in 1987.
Japan’s nuclear regulator said it will again halt a safety assessment of the offline Tsuruga-2 nuclear power plant after its operator repeatedly submitted documents containing errors, further prolonging the process of returning the plant to service.
