Cracking seen as main ‘life limiting factor’ in early generation nuclear plants
Recent inspections of graphite cracking in the UK nuclear fleet of advanced gas cooled reactors (AGR) point to the possibility that at least some of the units could operate into the 2030s, NucNet has been told.
