ESO had to plan for more than 4 GW of proposed new nuclear
Bulgaria’s grid operator ESO (Electricity System Operator) has prepared scenarios for the potential integration in the electric system of generation capacities from up to four new nuclear power units, two at the existing Kozloduy site and two from a proposed new site at Belene, according to the company’s chief executive Angelin Tsatchev.
