Grossi To Return To Zaporizhzhia After Highlighting ‘Very Real’ Potential Danger Of Major Accident
The six-unit Zaporizhzhia nuclear station in south Ukraine has been under Russian control since early March 2022.
The nuclear safety and security situation at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station remains extremely fragile with “very real” potential danger of a major accident, International Atomic Energy Agency director-general Rafael Grossi told the United Nations Security Council ahead of his fourth mission to the site early next month.
