7 Feb (NucNet): Cyclife, a subsidiary of France’s EDF Group, and Sogin, Italy’s state-owned nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management company, have signed an agreement for the treatment of 1,800 tonnes of metal waste from the decommissioning of the Trino (Enrico Fermi), Garigliano and Latina nuclear power plants in Italy.
