Japan Needs About 30 Commercial Nuclear Plants, Says Industry Group Chairman

24 Apr (NucNet): If Japan wants to reach its target of having a 20% to 22% share of nuclear in its energy mix by 2030 it will need to have “30 or so” nuclear plants in commercial operation in the coming decades, the chairman of the Japan Atomic Industrial Forum said.
