Authorities say there is ‘no practical alternative’
Japan’s Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) has granted an initial approval for Tokyo Electric Power Company’s (Tepco) plan to release water from the destroyed Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power station into sea, saying there are no safety issues.
