Kazatomprom Announces 30% Net Profit Increase, Warns Of Covid Impact

Kazakhstan’s state uranium company Kazatomprom said its revenue increased 54% for the first half of 2021 to 235.5 billion Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT) ($551m) compared to the same time last year, driving a 29% increase in operating profit to 61.3 billion KZT ($143m) and more than a 30% increase in adjusted net profit to 58.1 billion ($136m) KZT.
