Mazhit Sharipov was appointed head of Kazatomprom in September 2021.
Kazakhstan’s state-owned uranium mining company Kazatomprom is pushing efforts to establish “over time” new nuclear fuel cycle production facilities domestically, according to the company’s chief executive Mazhit Sharipov.
