NICA Collider In Dubna To Be Operational In  2022, Says Putin

The superconducting Nuclotron-based Ion Collider Facility (NICA), being built in Dubna, near Moscow, is expected to be online before the end of 2022, said Russian president Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the State Council. Since 2016 the NICA collider has been on the list of Russian scientific “megaprojects”, according to local media. Its development began in 2005, and construction started in 2013.
