Japan’s Nuclear Regulation Authority is likely to approve Japan Nuclear Fuel Ltd’s safety plans for its spent fuel reprocessing facility at Rokkasho in Aomori prefecture, northern Japan, by 13 May, NRA chairman Toyoshi Fuketa said during a press briefing.
