State utility ČEZ planning to increase production and move towards 60-year lifespan for reactors
The Czech Republic’s fleet of six commercial nuclear power plants have so far produced more than 30 TWh of electricity in 2021 – equalling their usual annual output, despite restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic and a number of shutdowns for modernisation projects.
