Nuclear Output Falls Due To Impact Of Work To Address Corrosion Problems
Civaux is one of the nuclear stations where EDF has found stress corrosion in a section of piping.
EDF said French nuclear output decreased by 7.5TWh or 7.6% at 91.7TWh in the first quarter of 2022 – a consequence of lower availability of the nuclear fleet mainly due to the impact of work to address stress corrosion issues at a number of plants.
