Nuclear Could Almost Treble Because Of Climate And Security Fears, Says IAEA

20 Nov (NucNet): Global installed nuclear capacity could almost treble to as much as 1,092 gigawatts electric (GWe) by 2050 with countries considering new nuclear build because of concerns about climate change, high fossil fuel prices, price volatility and security of supply, the International Atomic Energy Agency says in a report published today.
