The existing two units at Cernavodă provide about 20% of the country’s electricity production share.
Romania’s state-owned nuclear company Nuclearelectrica is aiming to have two new reactor units at the Cernavodă nuclear power station in the southeast of the country connected to the grid by 2031, chief executive officer Cosmin Ghita said.
