Both units scheduled to shut down by 2025
Orano USA subsidiary TN Americas has been awarded a contract to unload and transfer all used nuclear fuel and low-level radioactive waste into an interim dry storage facility on the site of the two-unit Diablo Canyon nuclear power station after its final shutdown planned for August 2025.
