Poverty Fund Says It Welcomes Proposals To Lift Nuclear Ban
Nuclear Energy Institute head Maria Korsnick has said the DFC must be allowed to support nuclear energy projects.
The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), which administers a fund to fight poverty in developing countries, has signalled a willingness to lift its prohibition on supporting nuclear projects, arguing that access to affordable and reliable power is crucial for economic development.
