First commercial ‘Voyagr’ nuclear plant could begin operation in Idaho in 2029
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has indicated it will certify NuScale’s ‘Voyagr’ 50-MW small modular reactor design, marking another milestone as the company bids to have its first plant operational in Idaho as soon as 2029.
