Regulator Sets Deadlines For Progress On Shallow Storage
France’s nuclear regulator ASN has set a deadline of 31 December 2021 for national radioactive waste management agency Andra to define the technical and safety criteria for a proposed shallow storage facility for long-lived low-level (LL-LL) radioactive waste in Vendeuvre-Soulaines, in the department of Aube, northeast France.
