Report Urges UK To Deploy Green Nuclear Hydrogen Technology ‘At Pace’
The recent closure of two reactors at Dungeness B means the UK now has only 13 units in commercial operation.
The UK can achieve net zero on time and affordably by 2050 if it “immediately and fully” recognises the opportunities offered by green hydrogen from nuclear plants, although it must put in place stronger industry and government collaboration to deploy the technology “at pace”, a report says.
