Russia Chooses Priority Site For Beloyarsk Fast Neutron Reactor MOX Production

Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom has chosen the Mining and Chemical Combine (MCC) at Zheleznogorsk, Siberia, as the priority site for industrial-scale production of mixed uranium-plutonium oxide (MOX) fuel for the planned BN-1200 fast neutron reactor at Beloyarsk nuclear power station.
