Russia Renews Licences For Bilibino-2 And Novovoronezh-4

Two nuclear power plants in Russia’s fleet of 37 commercial nuclear units have had their operating licenses extended, state nuclear corporation Rosatom said.Unit 2 at the Bilibino nuclear power station in the far northeastern region of Chukotka has had its licence renewed for five-years until 31 December 2025 and Unit 4 at Novovoronezh, in southwest Russia, will now operate a further 13 years until the end of 2032.
