Site Permit Review Might Be Needed For Kozloduy New-Build, Says Regulator
Bulgaria wants to build two new Westinghouse AP1000 reactors at the existing Kozloduy site.
Bulgaria’s state-owned Kozloduy NPP New Build (KNPP-Newbuild), which is looking to deploy two new AP1000 pressurised water reactor units at the existing Kozloduy site, may need to reapply for a review of a site permit to accommodate a second new reactor, according to representatives of the national nuclear regulator.
