Spain’s CNAT Hoping To Produce Lutetium-177 At Trillo Nuclear Station
The single-unit Trillo nuclear power station in Guadalajara province, central Spain.
The operator of the Almaraz and Trillio nuclear power stations in Spain is collaborating with French nuclear company Framatome on the possible commercial production at the Trillo power plant of the radioisotope lutetium-177 (Lu-177), which is used in nuclear medicine for the treatment of tumours.
