Despite the British government already having provided additional funding of £10.7bn, there remains “a strong likelihood” that more taxpayers’ money will be required to meet the costs of decommissioning the country’s seven advanced gas-cooled reactor (AGR) nuclear power stations, a parliamentary public accounts committee said.
