The construction and engineering company preparing for the dismantling of the Chernobyl sarcophagus has said work to remove the structure is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2023.Ukraine-based Ukrbudmontazh said the schedule is designed to allow for the potential instability of some structure that form part of the sarcophagus, which was hastily constructed over the destroyed number four reactor in the weeks after the 1986 accident.
