‘We need to start talking about financing’
The European Union’s sustainable finance taxonomy for green investment has opened the possibility of project developers raising private finance for new commercial nuclear power plants – something that is particularly essential for countries that do not want to use any kind of state aid, Jessica Johnson, communications and advocacy director at the Brussels-based industry group nucleareurope said.
