8 April (NucNet): Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco), operator of the disaster-stricken Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power station, and the Fukushima Prefectural Federation of Fisheries Co-operative Associations have reached an agreement that will allow clean groundwater to bypass the Fukushima-Daiichi station and flow in a controlled manner directly into the sea, Tepco said in a statement.
